Why it takes so long to make ED+ Adventures in Equestria episodes?

I get this question a lot and every day, so I think you deserve an answer.

– Let me start off by telling how the whole process goes:

1) I come up with ideas, write the script.

2) I send the script to script editor and co-writer to make it even better.

3) I wait for edits, which can take up to 1 month. Why? – explained below.

4) Once I receive the edited script, I check if its okay, then I start sending lines to voice actors. Who voices who? – That can be answered once you carefully read video credits which last only 7 seconds, pause if necessary.

5) I wait for voices which can take up to 1 month and I also start sending model requests if there are any required ones, those can take long time too.

Why it takes so long for script edits, voices and models?

– Let me answer by telling that other people also have life and real life problems, and I can’t force them to make me voices faster, everything has to be patient. I work only with best people and best quality needs also time, they always do their best and we pick only the most fitting lines.

How long do animations take?

– They can be from 4 days to 10 days, depends on length and difficulty. Last episode (episode 4, season 4) took me 6 days to animate. Video editing usually takes 2 days. Checking if everything is okay and preparing for release, 2 days. I make animations alone, I stick to my style, I don’t try to be equal.

So while we wait for episode, I make other videos so you wouldn’t get bored.

I also plan to start making new episodic show, but there will be other voice actors and script editors.

I have a lot of fun future plans prepared, so don’t worry about me running out of ideas.
